Quick answer: No—do not buy a Google Pixel 8 case for a Pixel 8 Pro, or a Pixel 8 Pro case for a Pixel 8. Google lists the two phones at substantially different heights and widths, and Everacs treats them as separate model-specific case fits.
Google’s official Pixel hardware specifications list the Pixel 8 at 150.5 × 70.8 × 8.9 mm and the Pixel 8 Pro at 162.6 × 76.5 × 8.8 mm (height × width × depth). That means the Pro is about 12.1 mm taller and 5.7 mm wider. Those official dimensions are direct evidence that the phones do not share the same outer size; they are not merely two names for the same chassis.

Google Pixel 8 vs Pixel 8 Pro dimensions
| Phone | Official dimensions (H × W × D) | Official weight |
|---|---|---|
| Google Pixel 8 | 150.5 × 70.8 × 8.9 mm | 187 g |
| Google Pixel 8 Pro | 162.6 × 76.5 × 8.8 mm | 213 g |
Evidence: these figures come from Google’s official Pixel Phone Help hardware-specifications page. The Pixel 8 Pro is clearly taller and wider than the Pixel 8.
Inference we do not make: dimensions alone are not enough to certify a third-party case. A fitted cover must also match the camera area, buttons, ports, speakers, microphones, corners and edge geometry. In this comparison, however, the official size difference already rules out treating the two phones as the same case size.
Real Everacs Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro case examples
Everacs currently carries separate textured covers for the two phones. The product data explicitly identifies each version as model-specific and explicitly says it is not for the other model.
Google Pixel 8 Carbon-Fiber-Style Leather-Texture Back Cover
Made for Google Pixel 8 only. The live listing describes a leather-texture rear surface, carbon-fiber-style pattern and soft flexible silicone/TPU sides; it does not claim genuine leather or genuine carbon fibre.
Google Pixel 8 Pro Carbon-Fiber-Style Leather-Texture Back Cover
Made for Google Pixel 8 Pro only. Its live listing uses the same verified material wording for the sides and textured rear styling, but it is a separate physical fit.
Important: similar styling does not mean the cases are interchangeable. These two Everacs listings are a useful real example: visually related cases can still require separate shells for different phone models.
Why a Pixel 8 case cannot simply stretch to fit a Pixel 8 Pro
The Pro is not just a Pixel 8 with a different label. Google’s official dimensions show a large difference in height and width. A fitted case is formed around the phone’s physical envelope, so a shell sized for the smaller Pixel 8 cannot be assumed to accommodate the larger Pixel 8 Pro.
The reverse is also a problem: putting a smaller phone into a shell designed around a larger device would not establish the close model-specific fit expected from a phone case.
Camera area and cutouts still matter
Even when two phones are closer in size than these Pixels, outer dimensions are only one part of compatibility. The case also needs its openings and covered controls to line up correctly.
- Camera area: the case opening or camera surround must match the intended phone.
- Side buttons: covered buttons need to press the controls in the correct positions.
- USB-C port: the bottom opening needs usable alignment with the charging port.
- Speaker and microphone openings: the case should not unintentionally obstruct required openings.
- Corner and edge shape: these determine how the case wraps around and retains the phone.
Our guide to camera cutouts, buttons and port openings explains why these details matter, while Can One Phone Case Fit Different Phone Models? covers the broader compatibility rule.
What if a marketplace listing shows Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro together?
A single marketplace page can offer several phone models as selectable options. That does not mean one physical case fits every model shown on the page. Current Pakistan marketplace results commonly use model selectors for Pixel cases, including separate Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro options.
Always check which model option you are selecting. The product title, compatibility section and variant choice should agree with your phone.
How to check your Pixel model before ordering
- Confirm the model in your phone settings. Do not identify it only by colour or camera appearance.
- Look for the full model name on the case listing. “Pixel 8” and “Pixel 8 Pro” are different case targets.
- Check the product photos and camera opening. They should correspond to the selected model.
- Do not rely on display size alone. Google lists the Pixel 8 with a 6.2-inch display and the Pixel 8 Pro with a 6.7-inch display, but screen size is not a case-compatibility specification.
- Ask the seller if a listing is ambiguous. Compatibility should be verified, not guessed.
Can a Pixel 8 screen protector fit a Pixel 8 Pro?
This guide is about phone cases, not screen protectors. The official display sizes and phone dimensions differ, so do not use this case comparison as evidence that a screen protector is interchangeable. Buy a protector specifically verified for your model.
What Everacs recommends
For the Google Pixel 8 family, buy by the exact model name. Everacs currently lists the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro covers separately and does not claim cross-fit between them.
You can browse current phone cases or use Find Your Phone to narrow the store by model. If you are comparing case construction as well as fit, see TPU vs Silicone vs Polycarbonate (PC) Phone Cases.
Research note
Last reviewed: 23 September 2026. Device dimensions, weights and display sizes were checked against Google’s official Pixel Phone Help hardware specifications. Current Pakistan marketplace results were reviewed to understand local shopping language and how model choices are presented; marketplace listings were not used as proof of physical compatibility. Everacs-specific case materials, model fit and images were taken from the current live Shopify product records rather than inferred from appearance.
Bottom line: Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro cases are not interchangeable. Google’s official dimensions show materially different phone sizes, and the current Everacs catalog uses separate model-specific covers for each.
